Keynote Brunch

Amp Somers is a blogger, sex worker, and activist. He produces the YouTube channel "Watts The Safeword" where he, along with guests of all abilities, backgrounds, experiences and kinky lifestyles, destigmatize topics on sex, which I'm told he has lots of experience with, and other LGBTQ+ issues. Getting to the bottom of things is his personal specialty as Amp tries to provide guidance on topics he wished he had had growing up as a queer kinkster including things like PrEP, how to come out as kinky, and how to clean out properly, because lord knows your sex ed teacher sure ain’t gonna do that for you. In addition to working as a full-time designer of kinky goods, Amp represents the Mr S Leather Brand both in San Francisco and at international events. As Mr Friendly SF 2019, Amp makes sex education fun and accessible, while using his platform to discuss stigma and advocate for freedom of expression. The world can be a scary place, but Amp does what he can to make sure we are all a little more Friendly.
